This is a painting that just has to be seen close up, in person, in order to see all the magical sparkles in the water and the trees. Judy used a special set of paints and techniques to achieve this effect, and the result is a bright, autumn painting with a lot of extra depth. Flecks of all colours make kaleidoscopic patterns in miniature. Just like as in a real forest scene, you have to linger long to see everything here.
