One of the most exciting things about watercolour is how it changes according to the light it is seen in. We always light to look at our pieces in the twilight to get the contrast right, and it is amazing how colours and moods change from the downstairs light to the natural light upstairs. Each gallery is different, each spot in each gallery is different. Watercolour is the ever-changing medium.
As Judy painted her Dunvegan Hills piece we watched the light wander across the hills and sky just as if were were out on the hillside.
