Grade Fours and the Goslings

Grade Four Artists at School were given a challenging subject for what was, for most, their first watercolour painting ever. Starting with a wet in wet blast of yellow, they then used a variety of techniques and the brush handling they learned last week to make an amorphous blob into a sweet little gosling.  Learning to balance the water and control the flow of watercolour is difficult… Yet that is where the magic of the medium lies.
