Evelyn’s Mountain

This painting is Carolyn’s but she gave it to Evelyn to commemorate a climb, at the age of 80, up a mountain.  Evelyn aimed to see the waterfall a fair ways up and she achieved it, camera around her neck and walking stick in hand.

Carolyn and her dad later climbed farther up the mountain, encountering stunning scenery along the way.  Dogs John and Toto had a wonderful time, although they were awfully tired after hours of uphill trekking.  The squirrels were safe for a few days afterwards.  This painting was from almost the end (there was another lake just beyond).
