Watercolour on Canvas

Judy’s painting Hidden is a watercolour on canvas.  The canvas first has to be painted with a special substance to make the watercolour work properly – and stick.  The effect is quite different from that of regular watercolour paper.  These are smooth and soft somehow.  Once they are quite dry they are sprayed with a protective coating.  They are ready to go on the wall – no glass!
