Flower Study

DSCF6699I’m not crazy about florals because I’m not brilliant about arranging buds and blooms.  I tend to make centres too small and stems too thin, and I scrap details that might be essential to botanists (and the plants themselves).  However, it is good practice.  Flowers play with light and texture like skin, silk and sun.  The dimension is essential and the shadows are important to study.

This is something like chickweed, only orange.  Any ideas what it might be?
