Autumn Leaves

I upped the contrast on this one a bit too much, I think.  There’s a major difference between the screen I use to adjust the pictures and the one I type on, making it very difficult to tell when I’ve got it right.  From what I can see here, there should be more of a glow going on.  Anyway, this is one of the paintings destined for one of the shows this August, September or October.  I’m trying to be loose.  What do you think? In contrast with your reservations, as a former photography editor for university newspapers, I was always a fan of higher contrast.
    It keeps away the bland.
I am totally blown away with all the colours and hues you have incorporated into this work.
Did you raid the palettes of every one in Art.3g?

Thank you! I like the contrast too, even though I dearly wish I could do something light and airy sometimes… That’s just not the way I want the world to look 🙂
I didn’t even use a palette for that painting… hee hee, my secret technique!
