Artists at School Show

When the Fairview grade 4, 5s and 6s spend six weeks learning at Artists at School, they make a whole lot of art that just has to be shown off!  Their show opened in the Fairview Fine Arts Centre on Saturday.  Several students attended as ambassadors, eager to explain the processes behind the work.  Plenty of parents, grandparents, siblings, community members, and even an MLA hopeful attended the show.  There were over 200 drawings, 200 paintings, 200 clay sculptures, and 200 fibre arts projects (macrame, felting, and string art).  Here’s a sampling.
