Swan Brush Training

Grade 4s practiced brush strokes in their first watercolour session; in their second they put brush handling to use in a finished painting.  They need some small brushes to make small swans.  I got to paint that rainbow of swans while I tested each brush to see if it was “trainable”.  All you need to paint well is a well-trained brush 😉  It’s true!  Not all brushes will paint the same swan. Yes, I can paint swans going the other direction.  I just thought they looked neat all going the same way.

Yes, when the kids saw the colourful test swans you can imagine what colours they wanted to paint theirs😄
