Grade Six Gesture Drawing

I wasn’t sure how classes of grade six students would handle drawing each other, but everything went well 🙂  The models were in the middle of a circle of artists, so each had a slightly different view.  Sometimes they got a break, but sometimes they had a tricky drawing to pull off.  They did very well.  The idea was to observe body proportions, notice how long arms really are and how big hands are, how legs are attached to hips so they have to be as wide as hips at the top, and then, for a challenge, add fingers, faces, and clothes.  It was the same lesson adults would have gotten.
