Mijello Paints

Judy is trying out a new brand of watercolour paints.  They are much more intense than the usual watercolours.  These are her first two experiments.

Too bad the photography doesn’t do the paintings justice!

Which type of paints are being tested? They do have a lot of color to them.

      Hi Deb,
Judy here. I saw the Mijello paints demonstrated on YouTube and did some research. Tom Lynch reported that they were good. I splurged and bought the big 34 colour set and I must say I am enjoying them. I haven’t really set to work and done a serious painting with them yet but I am envisioning flowers. It doesn’t take much paint to make a bold hue.

Gorgeous. The colors in the second one really pop. I love the blue layer.

I do too and as Carolyn says, the photo doesn’t even do the painting justice. Somehow, these paints seem to bring out a nice depth in the painting.
